I am working on the 3rd Volume of the Smith County Marriage Records. I have entered over 21,ooo marriages that covers the grooms to the letter M. The 3rd Volume will cover the marriages from 1927 to at least 1935. No time line on finishing but it is not going very quickly right now because of other projects.
The first Smith County Marriage book is being redone. Mary Beth Ramage has entered the information in an Excel worksheet. Andy Leath has offered to proofread and I hope to have him start on that within a month or two. The ETGS board has approved putting the information on-line at our Smith County GenWeb site.
